Project Location
Papago Park is located approximately seven miles east of downtown Phoenix, and within five miles of downtown Tempe and Scottsdale. The Salt River runs 1/2 mile south of the park’s southern boundary. Papago Park has many outstanding features, making it a unique natural and recreation area in the middle of metropolitan Phoenix. The most distinguishing natural elements in the park are terra-cotta red rock outcropping collectively known as the Papago Buttes.
